Nutrition Labels: What They Mean   Nutrition can be overwhelming.   What to get enough of, what to avoid, how much to consume, what to look for.   The majority of people are unsure how to read a nutrition label which ultimately means they are unsure of what their nutrition consists of.   Here is a simple, quick, and easy breakdown of how to navigate through a nutrition label.   Step 0: Avoid them.   Ideally, you are consuming foods that don’t have a nutrition label because they are organic or naturally sourced foods. E.g. tomato, spinach, banana, potato etc. Eat naturally and you won’t have to worry about reading a label.   Where to start in reading a nutrition label:   Step 1: Serving Size.   At the top of the nutrition label it will state the serving size and servings per container. I have news for a whole lot of people…. This news is something that no one wants to admit but applies to more of us than we think.  What I’m about to tell you is a problem that can be addressed, but first needs to be recognized and clarified. The fact is that there is a pretty decent chance that you are below average. Below average professionally, below average physically, below average socially.  Whatever quality you choose you have to come to terms with the fact that half of the population is going to be below average. For the more optimistic crowd reading this that also leaves good news.  There is a second half of the population who is above average.  However just being optimistic doesn’t mean that you are above that magical line.
